Coconut Water

Coconut water is a wonderful beverage filled with great benefits.  It’s popularity isn’t just from it’s tastiness, but it is quite nutritious. Here is a list of nutrition facts of coconut water:

Coconut water is approximately 95% water.  It’s a great hydration drink.  Our body needs a lot of fluids to stay healthy and properly hydrated. Especially during the summer as heat related deaths are very common.

Coconut water is not calorie free, but it is only 42 calories per serving.  It’s a great replacement for our regular sugar-sweetened drinks. It contains a great refreshing flavor and can help you curb your desire for soda pop. 

      3. Contains potassium

Potassium is a vital mineral that helps our brain and nervous system to function properly. One serving of coconut water provides 13% of our daily potassium needs.  

      4. Contains magnesium
